CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.– The #3 Lady Tigers matched up against Bethel University Saturday afternoon at Powell Athletic Center. After the 105-68 win, Campbellsville improves to a 5-0 record within the Mid-South conference.

Maddy Boyle started the competition with three back-to-back-to-back three-point baskets. The Lady Tigers had two appearances at the charity stripe with four unsuccessful attempts at free points. Campbellsville found relief as Bailey Pedigo retaliated with a jump shot. In the next possession, Courtney Pritchett went to the arc with two consecutive shots to put the Lady Tigers ahead by nine points. Pedigo and Elizabeth Bertram aided in Campbellsville's double-digit lead. After one, the Lady Tigers had accumulated 77.8 percent from the arc.

Maddie Nalley solidified her opportunities from the line to bump the Lady Tiger free throw percentage to 50 percent. Campbellsville remained hot at the three-point line as Sarah Sutton amassed two buckets from the area. Boyle tipped the ball away from her opponent for Pedigo to receive. Pedigo assisted Boyle in a fashioned layup to put Campbellsville ahead by 21 points. Kaitlyn Wilks found trouble in the post as she was triple-teamed but Wilks opted to dump the ball behind for Pedigo to nail a backdoor basket. The Lady Tigers went into the half with a 57-35 lead over the Bethel Wildcats.

At the half, Campbellsville had forced the Wildcats into ten turnovers. Campbellsville cultivated these turnovers into 18 points. The Lady Tigers had only suffered four turnovers of their own. Bethel attacked the board first with a three-point basket. However, the Lady Tigers executed a ten-point run to further their lead above the Wildcats. Sutton secured the 31-point lead for Campbellsville with her jump shot. The Lady Tigers had to create space for shots due to Bethel's tenacious defense. Sutton climbed up the leaderboard as she continued to sink her shots in a pair of serial possessions. As the third quarter dwindled, Shelbie Beatty made a three-point bucket to add to the Lady Tiger lead.

Beatty started the final quarter with a second chance basket under the rim. The Wildcats scratched at their trail slightly but struggled to come back from their deep deficit. Briante Gowdy canceled out Bethel's advance with her shot from the arc. Kayla Luebbe capitalized off an offensive rebound to earn her own bucket. A freshman line played the remainder of the fourth quarter. Paige Serafini collected herself a steal to send over to Paige Evans. Evans then returned the ball to Serafini for an assist on the basket. Serafini returned in the next possession for a three-pointer. Serafini was unstoppable as she created space to sink a jump shot the next time the Lady Tigers had the ball. Campbellsville solidified the win with a 105-68 score.
