BOWLING GREEN, KY – The Tigers were able to make it to the third round of team action at the Mid-South Conference Championships over the weekend.
Campbellsville made light work of Shawnee State in their opening round matchup. Campbellsville won the match 4-1 (257-140, 134-97, 132-144, 206-201, 208-141). The Tigers fell in their second round when they met the number one seeded Tennessee Southern. The Firehawks defeated the Tigers in four games (191-173, 221-197, 222-200, 196-189).
In the third round, Campbellsville would fall to Bethel University in a five game series with the Bearcats. Bethel won 4-1 with scores of (214-201, 141-180, 205-191, 174-164, 189-152).
Campbellsville will return to action next Friday when they travel to Indianapolis for the Hoosier Classic.
