KINGSPORT, TN – Day three key points helped the Lady Tigers maintain and finish out in fifth place at the conclusion of the Mid-South Conference Championships.
The 1650 freestyle saw the most individual points on the day for the team.
Hannah Doyle led the way for a trio of Lady Tigers. Doyle finished in 11
th position with a time of 19:30.33.
Hannah Rhodenbaugh was close behind Doyle finishing in 13
th with her time of 20:16.18.
Anna Lewis was the final athlete in for Campbellsville with her 15
th place finishing time of 21:51.54.
In the 200-yard backstroke, Rhodenbaugh came back with key points in the event. She cracked top 10 with a 10
th place finish time of 2:15.89.
Lizandri Crewe-Brown joined Rhodenbaugh collecting points in the event when she finished in 12
th position with a time of 2:16.44.
Sarah Wortham came in clutch in the 200-yard butterfly when she placed 11
th overall with a time of 2:31.46 while
Maggie Gibson was close behind in 13
th place with her time of 2:37.93.
In the final scoring event of the day, Campbellsville was able to place sixth overall. In the 400-yard freestyle relay Wortham, Rhodenbaugh, Crewe-Brown, and Doyle finished the event in 3:50.43.
The Lady Tigers will now have three weeks to prepare themselves for the NAIA National Championships.
