CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Five total matches made up a very busy week for the Tiger Esports team.

Rocket League would matchup with the Phoenix of Cumberland University in the Mid-South Conference semi-finals. This series was a best of five, first to three wins. The battle of the CU's would go in the favor of Cumberland U, 3-0. CU would keep all three contests close, but never found the opening to exploit. Simon Coy would score a goal for Campbellsville along with six saves, seven shots, and a total score of 933. Nate Sampson also found the goal once, adding four saves, and seven shots, totaling a 733 score. McQueary would round out the trio with one goal, two assists, three saves, and seven shots, for a total score of 822.

Up next was a matchup with Western Colorado University in the Aces series. In a block of three games, CU was able to win all three and take home the win. The scores were: 5-1, 4-0, and 3-2. McQueary led Campbellsville with his total score of 1,511. He scored five goals, had three assists, six saves, and 12 shots. Sampson would also put together a solid line of four goals, three assists, five saves, and seven shots. His final score was 1,284 points. Coy would finish above 1,000 total as well. He was good for three goals, two assists, four saves, and nine shots.

The Smash Varsity was in action via the Aces series against Widener University. Their current record before this match was 1-1, this contest being the last time they saw each other in the regular season. The Tigers didn't have their best stuff and WU took the win. Darrel Dick was Pac-man and took two stocks. Timothy Terrell selected R.O.B and took one stock. Dalton Kehm was King K. Rool, taking five stocks. Araujo Saenz was R.O.B. and stole one stock. Jeffery Short picking Sonic, took two stocks.

In Mid-South Conference action, both the Academy and Varsity were in the lower playoff bracket. First up was the Academy team playing Shawnee State University B. They would come up short against the Bears B squad, knocking them out of the playoffs. Terrell was R.O.B and stole three stocks. Zachary Bradley was Wolf and took zero stocks. John Luke Roberts selecting Young Link, took two stocks.

The Varsity bunch had their second-round match with Bethel University. They came out on top beating BU and advancing on to the third round of the lower bracket. Dick as Pac-Man, took six stocks and Short as Sonic, finished off the last three. CU didn't need to pull out their closer for this matchup.

The varsity team now would meet Shawnee State B in the lower side. It was a hard-fought match, but the Bears would end the Tigers' run and MSC run. Dick the Pac-Mac main, stole two stocks. Short picking Sonic, took two stocks. Kehm as King K. Rool, would take two stocks.
