GREENVILLE, ILL – Tigers are still in sight of the NCCAA title after second day of competition with a big performance from the triple jump crew.
25 points came out of the triple jump on the afternoon. The Tigers had five different scorers in the event.
Corey Smith saved his best jump for last and hit an NAIA A Standard to go with his runner-up performance hitting 14.77m.
CamRon Hamby earned another All-American honor placing third on the afternoon at 14.55m.
David Young came in fourth in the event at 14.35m and hit an NAIA B Standard.
Brevon Whitney was able to put together a solid jump on his fifth of the day hitting 13.64m.
Barrye Trotter was the final athlete to score in the event placing seventh overall with a mark of 13.46m.
The Tigers 4x800m relay narrowly missed hitting an NAIA Standard time on the afternoon but were able to walk away with a third place All-American sitting.

Aiden Tucker, and Alex Steen crossed the line in 7:50.57.
Hamby collected two more points on his day in the high jump with a height of 1.90m.
Shawn Little earned another All-American to add to his resume placing third in the 10,000m run with a time of 33:56.25.
Campbellsville will make up ground on Friday hitting qualifiers from the prelims. In the 110m hurdles, Greg Carr earned the eighth and final spot running a 17.30 in the prelims.
Elijah Moore and
Chance Lucas both earned spots in the 100m final. Moore ran 10.79 while Lucas was at 10.80. Moore also hit a qualifier in the 200m while claiming the final spot at 21.86.
Jackson Harrell will join Moore being the fifth seeded athlete in finals at 21.64.
The Tigers will return to action for day three of the NCCAA Championships on Friday.
