CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University welcomes Andrea Laboy to the Lady Tiger Volleyball team for the 2022 season.
 
Andrea Estefania Laboy Rivera is a graduate transfer from North Carolina A&T State University where last season she had 426 digs as the Aggies' libero on the season along with a career game-high of 39 digs against Winthrop University.
 
In her time at N.C. A&T, she earned multiple Big South Conference and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) player of the week awards, was named to multiple All-Academic selections, and was crucial to the team's first ever trip to the NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship Tournament. Laboy was a critical part of the Aggie teams who won the MEAC Southern Division back-to-back and who secured the program's first ever MEAC tournament win.
 
Laboy, a native of Coamo, Puerto Rico, will pursue Psychology at Campbellsville. She is the daughter of Fidel Laboy and Grisel Rivera. Her brother, Andres Laboy, is himself a libero for the Tigers.
