CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – Lee Miracle adds another key recruiting piece for his upcoming 2022-23 roster in Shea Reisel.
Teams will now have to deal with Reisel who was a national champion in high school while also winning the state championship multiple times. She won the first state championship under the IHSA newly sanctioned women's wrestling in the state of Illinois.
Along with her state and national titles, Shea already has multiple All-Americans including a Fargo All-American honor where she placed runner-up at.
Reisel intends to major in journalism during her time here at Campbellsville.
Shea is one of the youth group leaders at the church she attends back home. Outside of the wrestling mat, she was the state runner-up in the 100m hurdles and a libero for the volleyball team.
"Shea is an incredible addition to our program," said Miracle. "She is a national caliber wrestler but, more importantly she is a great person. She has what it takes to make an immediate impact on our lineup."
Shea is the daughter of Stephen and Jennifer Reisel and they reside in Somonauk, Illinois.
