INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Campbellsville University Bowling teams headed to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the C300 Western Shootout on Saturday and Sunday.
For the women's team, the Lady Tigers placed 19th out of 27 teams. Emily Readnour led the way for the Lady Tigers, placing 65th individually with a 174.5 average. Readnour bowled 168, 161, 224, 181, 141, and 172 out of six games, respectively. Mashayla Atherton wasn't too far behind, placing 72nd individually with a 172 average. Out of six games, Atherton bowled 167, 139, 171, 163, 206, and 186.
As for the men's team, the Tigers placed 18th out of 32 teams. Ambrose Shirk led the way for the Tigers, placing 11th individually with a 223.2 average. Out of six games, Shirk bowled 236, 238, 200, 234, 225, and 206. Devin Wright was the next Tiger, placing 66th individually with a 201.2 average. Wright bowled 225, 225, 224, 176, 182, and 175 out of six games.
The Tigers and Lady Tigers will be in action on Saturday, October 28th, to compete in the Mid-South Conference Greater Nashville Open in Smyrna, Tennessee.
