CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - The Tigers had their first round of back-to-back swim meets in a 24-hour period over the weekend.

For the first time in a month, Campbellsville was back in the water up north at DIII Asbury University. Asbury defeated Campbellsville 145-35. Â
The Tigers opened the scoring in the 200-yard medley relay.
Ellie Eisses,
Marlien Crewe-Brown,
Taryn Harper, and
Hannah Rhodenbaugh placed 2nd in the event in 2:01.61.
Harper turned around and swam a school record performance in the 1000-yard freestyle with her time of 12:18.41, placing 3rd overall.
Chloe Little gave the team their second bronze medal of the evening in the 200-yard IM, finishing in 2:32.47.Â
Ashlee Whitaker produced key point performances for the Tigers Friday evening in her individual events. She was 4th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:39.02 and was 5th in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 1:14.59.
Rhodenbaugh provided a bronze medal finish in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:24.14.
Crewe-Brown and Little gave Campbellsville their first 1-2 finish of the weekend. Crewe-Brown won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:34.00, narrowly missing her school record set a month ago by .15 seconds. Little was the runner-up in 2:47.22.
Campbellsville finished off Friday night with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Crewe-Brown, Eisses, Harper, and Rhodenbaugh finished out Friday evening with a time of 1:49.94.
Vs. Bethel
A short rest and the Tigers were back in the water Saturday early afternoon for a dual meet against Mid-South Conference opponent Bethel. Campbellsville came back in a big way with a 96-46 win on Saturday.
Harper started out the scoring Saturday in the 1500-meter freestyle. She was 2nd overall in 20:36.92. The first solo event winner for Campbellsville came from Whitaker in the 200-meter freestyle with her time of 2:57.56.Â
Rhodenbaugh followed suit in the 100-meter backstroke. She won the event by 1.78 seconds with a time of 1:14.26. Eisses was 3rd on the day in 1:16.84.Â
Crewe-Brown set her second school record of the season. She won the 100-meter breaststroke in a time of 1:20.64. The previous record was set back in the 2012-13 season by April Hill of 1:21.35.Â
Charlotte Stull was the next podium finisher on Saturday with her runner-up effort in the 50-meter freestyle in 31.05. She turned around the next event in the 100-meter freestyle, finishing 2nd in 1:08.33, while Whitaker was 3rd in 1:25.75.Â
Rhodenbaugh won her second event of the day in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:43.21.Â
Crewe-Brown went for the double school record in the breaststroke and her second event win of the day in the 200-meter. She set a new school record time of 2:53.36. The previous record was also held by April Hill in the 2012-13 season of 2:58.25. Harper stayed in the long-distance events on Saturday with her solo victory in the 400-meter freestyle. She won the event in 5:14.45.Â
Crewe-Brown and Little earned the final podium finishes on the weekend for the Tigers. Crewe-Brown won the 200-meter IM in 2:43.29, with Little finishing behind her in 2:54.51.
Campbellsville will return to the pool on Friday, October 27th, when they travel to Centre College. The meet will begin at 6 p.m. ET.
