HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Tigers went on the road for Thursday night's match-up against the Freed-Hardeman Lions. In the last 20 minutes of play, the Tigers kicked the winning goal, ending the game victorious, 1-0. This win for the Tigers gave Head Coach Adam Preston his 250th win. 

The first half came to a slow offensive start, with only two shots from the Tigers. At the 10-minute mark, Zeezo Cassio missed a penalty kick for Campbellsville, saved by the opposing goalie. The Lions attempted a few shots at the goal, but none were successful. Antonio Quinta, Ollie Jagroop, and Nicole Lanari all tried to score for the Tigers, but as the first half came to an end, the score remained tied at zero. 

Campbellsville had collected one save in the opening 45 minutes of the game while they put six shots up on the opposing end, compared to Freed-Hardeman's four saves and three shots. 

The second half began with a shot at the goal by Lanari. Both teams continued to attempt to make their way to the scoreboard, but neither team's defense faltered. At the 79-minute mark, Jagroop made the first goal of the game, putting the Tigers on the winning end of the scoreboard. The Lions attempted to retaliate, but their shots were not successful. The second half came to an end, and the Tigers came out victorious, 1-0.  

Campbellsville excelled with 11 shots and seven shots on goal compared to Freed-Hardeman's seven shots and two shots on goal. However, the Lions collected six saves contrasted to the Tigers' two. 

The Tigers will be back in action, hosting the Georgetown College Tigers on October 30th, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
