DANVILLE, KY – Campbellsville traveled down the road to Danville to compete in a double-dual meet against Centre College and Midway University over the weekend.
The team started off their day with a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay.
Marlien Crewe-Brown,
Taryn Harper,
Hannah Rhodenbaugh, and
Charlotte Stull touched the wall in 4:26.82. Stull earned the first top-five individual finish of the evening for the team. She was fifth overall in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:08.92.
Rhodenbaugh was the next top-five finisher in the 100-yard backstroke. She was fifth in 1:06.52. Crewe-Brown picked up another win in her back pocket on the season in the 100-yard breaststroke. She won by 1.39 seconds with a time of 1:10.57 which is .33 off the school record.
Ellie Eisses was fifth in the 200-yard backstroke with her time of 2:29.73.
Chloe Little finished runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:48.57, missing the win by 1.44 seconds. Harper was close to Little in the event with a fifth place finish time of 2:52.56.
Stull earned the silver in the 500-yard freestyle with her time of 5:42.91. During the event, she kept a split spread of 2.97 seconds.
Crewe-Brown finished in a tie for second in the 200-yard IM. Her and Centre College's Samantha Coffey touched the wall in 2:22.43. Rhodenbaugh was fourth in the event at 2:27.79. The team rounded out the evening with one final fifth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Crewe-Brown, Harper, Rhodenbaugh, and Stull were able to complete the event in 1:51.79.
Campbellsville was third on the evening. Centre College defeated the Tigers 196.50-43.50, and Midway defeated Campbellsville 126-71.
The team will return to the pool on Saturday, November 4th, for a busy weekend in Campbellsville against Lindsey Wilson and Union College. The first event will go off at 5 p.m. ET.
