MARION, Ind. - Saturday, the Tigers took on the #3 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats at their home gym. Despite the Tigers' efforts to retaliate in the third set, the Wildcats took the match 3-0.

The Wildcats held an early lead in the game, quickly matched by the Tigers with kills from Cierra Merrick and Molly Shannon. Both teams remained within a couple of points from one another, continuously tying the score. As Campbellsville reached 17, Indiana Wesleyan did not allow them to score any further, taking the set from the Tigers 25-17.

Merrick opened the second frame, putting the Tigers on the scoreboard, but three back-to-back kills from the Wildcats left Campbellsville trailing. Five attack errors from the Tigers propelled Indiana Wesleyan further up in the score. Merrick and Brooke Hager landed a kill for Campbellsville each, and the Wildcats' control at the net prevented the Tigers from successfully attacking them further as the second frame continued to unfold. Indiana Wesleyan's forceful play closed the set with a 19-point advantage over Campbellsville, 25-6.
