CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY –
Marlien Crewe-Brown reset her own school record today in a double dual against Lindsey Wilson College and Union College Saturday evening.
Crewe-Brown earned the bronze medal position in the 100-meter breaststroke with her time of 1:19.26, lowering her school record by 1.35 seconds.
The first top-five finish of the day came from
Chloe Little in the 200-meter IM. Little was 4th overall in 2:49.51. Little came back with another top-five finish in the 100-meter freestyle. She was 4th with a time of 1:09.21.
The Tigers had a runner-up finish out of
Ellie Eisses in the 100-meter backstroke. She touched the wall in 1:18.25.
Charlotte Stull was 3.73 seconds away from a school record in the 400-meter freestyle. She was the runner-up in the event in 5:00.82.
Taryn Harper was 5th overall in the event in 5:13.47.
"I am very proud of my team! They have been training so hard and we've raced three weeks in a row," said head coach
Casey Bradstreet. "They have been pushing every day and I am really looking forward to our mid-season invitational at University of the South in two weeks! Taper begins Monday, and they are ready for it!"
Overall, on the evening, Campbellsville fell to Lindsey Wilson 147-27 and fell to Union College 96-32.
Campbellsville will hit the road for the Igloo Invitational on November 17th-18th in Sewanee, TN.
