PORTSMOUTH, OH – Campbellsville began the December training portion of the schedule with strong performances over the weekend at Shawnee State.
The Tigers began the meet with a win in the 200-meter medley relay.

Chloe Little,
Marlien Crewe-Brown, and
Ellie Eisses pulled away the final few meters and won with a time of 2:18.41. Eisses was the runner-up in the 50-meter backstroke at 35.73.
Crewe-Brown gave the Tigers their first individual event win of the night in the 50-meter breaststroke. Crewe-Brown beat out Shawnee's Bosler with her time of 36.16, while Bosler was 36.60.
Eisses came back in the 100-meter backstroke and won with a time of 1:19.32.
Lucy Ballard came in 2nd overall in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:41.05. Crewe-Brown narrowly came away with her second individual win of the day in the 50-meter butterfly. She was .02 seconds behind Bosler from Shawnee State in 32.80.
Stull was the final individual event winner for Campbellsville in the 200-meter IM with a time of 2:47.02. Campbellsville finished off the meet with a runner-up finish in the 200-meter freestyle relay. They were less than two seconds behind Shawnee State in 2:05.21.
Overall, on the day, Campbellsville defeated Pikeville 89.00-13.00 and fell to Shawnee State 71.00-57.00.
Campbellsville will now head into the Christmas break before returning to the pool on Friday, January 5th, at the Centre College Invitational.
