KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Following their runner-up finish in the Mid-South Conference Championship and their NAIA Softball Championships Opening Round appearance, the Campbellsville Softball Lady Tigers have eight players named Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes.

Payton Blades, Keely Bowling, Allison Bush, Morgan Carter, Riley Hurst, Lexi Miller, Ashby Murt, and Addie Young were all lauded with academic honors.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
