CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – Campbellsville finished out the home portion of the 2023-24 season this afternoon in a dual meet against Indiana Wesleyan.
The Tigers began the meet with a 3rd place finish in the 200-meter medley relay.
Ellie Eisses,
Marlien Crewe-Brown,
Taryn Harper, and
Charlotte Stull were all on the relay, earning two points and swimming a time of 2:20.82.
Lucy Ballard gave Campbellsville two more points with her 5th-place finish in the 50-meter freestyle at 34.73. Three points came out of the 200-meter IM from
Chloe Little and Eisses. Little was 4th overall in 2:53.72, while Eisses was 5th in 3:00.28.
Harper was the next point scorer for the Tigers, with two points coming from the 100-meter freestyle. Harper placed 5th overall in 1:09.62. Crewe-Brown gave Campbellsville their first event win of the day in the 100-meter breaststroke. Crewe-Brown has dominated both the 100 and 200 distance at this event and now owns both school records. She won the event today in 1:21.57, 2.31 seconds off her school record.
Campbellsville finished out the dual meet with a 3rd place finish from Stull, Eisses, Little, and Harper in the 200-meter freestyle relay. They swam a time of 2:05.76.
The team will return to the water on Saturday, January 20th, at the Highway 55 Last Chance Meet at Lindsey Wilson College. Campbellsville will then head to the Mid-South Conference Championship at the end of the month in Kingsport, TN.
