GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Campbellsville Tigers headed to Georgetown College to face off against the Georgetown Tigers on Friday night. The Tigers clinched the victory with a goal in the 77th minute, securing their win over Georgetown.

Campbellsville and Georgetown struggled to find the rhythm for the first half. Campbellsville's defense played a significant role as the first half ended, keeping Georgetown from finding the net.

In the second half, Campbellsville kept control over the field as the match progressed. The Campbellsville Tigers found an opportunity to score after a corner kick, where Makwe Nkoana headed the first goal of the match at the minute 77th, putting Campbellsville ahead 1-0. Campbellsville held on for the victory.

The Tigers will be back in action for their senior night, hosting the Bethel University Wildcats in Finley Stadium on Wednesday, October 30th. The game is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET.
