CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The Tigers hosted the #16 Bethel University Wildcats on Wednesday night for their last regular season home game. Despite both teams' efforts to strike back in the closing minutes of the match, the contest ended in a draw, 2-2.
The Wildcats were first on the scoreboard with a goal in the opening minutes of the game. Nicolo Lanari propelled the Tigers forward, stealing the lead from Bethel with a penalty goal. At the end of the first half, Campbellsville led the game 2-1.
Halfway through the second half, the Wildcats made it past the Tigers' defense and tied the score with another goal. Neither team was able to break the tie for a victory, ending the match in a tie, 2-2.
The Tigers will be back in action, traveling to Columbia, Kentucky, to battle the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders on Monday, November 4th, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
