BEAVECREEK, Ohio. – At the Raider Classic Collegiate Tournament hosted by Wright State University, the Campbellsville University Men's and Women's Bowling teams competed last Saturday and Sunday. The men finished in 14th place, with an overall total of 7819, and the women in 16th, with an overall total of 4689.
For the men's varsity, Ambrose Shirk led with a strong 1071 series (227, 192, 224, 238, 190), averaging 214.2 across five games, and Codie Tempe closely followed with a series total of 1016 (223, 150, 215, 224, 204) and a 203.2 average. Ayden Sprowles rolled an impressive four-game series of 834 (226, 207, 213, 188), averaging 208.5, while Chandler Taylor contributed a 765 series (226, 180, 198, 161) with a 191.3 average over his four games.
The women's team, unfortunately, competed one bowler short, impacting their overall standing but still seeing individual solid performances. Autumn Anderson led with a series total of 914 (152, 165, 179, 227, 191), averaging 182.8, and Elizabeth Morrow posted a consistent 847 series (200, 171, 166, 154, 156) with a 169.4 average. Kaitlyn Szkwarok and Aliyah Flatt also added to the team's score, with a series total of 720 (167, 140, 156, 124, 133) and 463 (105, 116, 60, 89, 93), respectively.
The Tigers will be back in action on Wednesday, December 18th, and Thursday, December 19th, in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
