CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville finished out senior day on Friday with their first dual win of the season over Midway University 107-88.
In the 400m medley relay,
Sofia Tricoli,
Marlien Crewe-Brown,
Victória Lanza, and
Taryn Harper finished 2nd overall in 4:50.77 which was only .05 seconds behind the winning time.
Clara Björkegren won the 200m freestyle in 2:18.24 for the Tigers first win of the evening.
Ellie Eisses and Harper finished 2-3 in the 50m freestyle. Eisses was the runner-up in 31.15, and Harper placed 3rd in 31.56.
Campbellsville swept the 200m IM on Friday.
Marissa Toms won with a time of 2:44.16, Tricoli was 2nd in 2:53.79, and
Chloe Little earned the bronze in 2:53.94. In the 100m butterfly, Lanza and Crewe-Brown placed 1st and 3rd. Lanza won the event in 1:08.13, and Crewe-Brown was 3rd in 1:16.52.Â
Charlotte Stull and Harper went 2-3 in the 100m freestyle. Stull was the runner-up in 1:05.76, and Harper was 3rd in 1:07.19. In the 100m backstroke, Tricoli was the bronze medal finisher in 1:17.88. Campbellsville won two more individual events on Friday in the 400m freestyle and 100m backstroke. Lanza won the 400m free in a time of 4:45.88, Crewe-Brown won the 100m back in 1:21.40.
The Tigers final event of the day saw a runner-up finish in the 200m freestyle relay. Lanza, Crewe-Brown, Eisses, and Bjorkegren finished the event in 2:02.62.Â
Campbellsville returns to the pool November 22-24 at the Centre Invitational in Danville, KY.
