GREENVILLE, S.C. – Nina Daman has been named the Dr. Ray Bullock Award Recipient for the second consecutive season for the NCCAA Cross Country National Championships. 

For many years, Dr. Ray Bullock dedicated himself to the development of cross country as a sport in general but also as a ministry within the NCCAA. The NCCAA Hall of Famer (1999) led his teams to over 10 total NCCAA and NAIA national championships and coached dozens of All-Americans. Bullock has impacted the lives of countless student-athletes and coaches through his mentoring and sacrifice.

Daman was the NCCAA runner-up in the 10,000m run after her teammate won the event in the final meters. Daman was sitting in third place heading into the final 100m and eventually outkicked CeCe Mitchell in the final 50m of the race to secure the runner-up spot. 

This cross country season, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors and a spot in the NAIA National Championship. She sits second on the all-time list for the fastest 6K in program history and fifth on the all-time list for the fastest 5K in program history. 

Daman is part of FCA on campus and participated in the athletic department mission trip to Alaska in the summer of 2023. Daman is also part of the Mid-South Conference student-athlete leadership team.

Campbellsville competes in the NCCAA Championships on Friday, November 15th, in Warsaw, IN. Daman will continue her season after the NCCAA Championships at the NAIA National Championship in Columbia, MO, on Friday, November 22nd.
