Icart Galumette was an individual champion for the #11 Campbellsville Women's Wrestling squad Friday, victorious with two pins and a 14-5 decision in the 116-lb. division at the Mid-South Conference Championship Tournament.
Galumette made short work of her first two opponents, pinning both in 1:21 or shorter, including #10 Robinson of Brewton-Parker in :59 seconds. In the final, she bested #2 Life's Martinez in a lopsided decision.

Gaby Perez finished second in her 136-lb. bracket, losing in the final via technical fall to #3 Zaynah McBryde of Life. En route to the finals, Perez picked up an 8-4 decision over #10 Prado.

Kendra Thompson also made it to the finals in the 155-lb. division. She bested #14 Pereira of Cumberlands with a 7-4 decision before meeting #2 Latifah McBryde of Life in the finals who won with a technical fall.

Olivia Messerly ended third in her 130-lb. bracket. She fell to #10 Kuzma of Indiana Tech (:52 pin) before rallying in the consolation side of things and securing her placement with a :54 pinfall over Life's #12 Dalrymple.
The Lady Tigers ended their MSC Championship Tournament in fourth with 127.5 points, 3.5 points behind third place #9 Cumberlands. The Running Eagles of Life University were the overall winner at 187 team points and five individual champions.
