KINGSPORT, TN – Campbellsville finished out the Mid-South Conference Championships over the weekend, placing 5th with 176 team points.
The Tigers began the meet with a 4th place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Marlien Crewe-Brown,
Taryn Harper, and
Chloe Little touched the wall in 1:46.71. For the 400-yard medley relay, the same group pulled off a top-five finish, placing 5th in a time of 4:20.55. In the 200-yard medley relay, Campbellsville hit their third top-five finish of the meet, placing 5th in a time of 1:57.67.
Harper scored the first individual points for the Tigers in the 200-yard freestyle. She placed 13th in the B-finals with a time of 2:07.99. Crewe-Brown qualified for the main finals in the 100-yard breaststroke, placing 8th at 1:09.49, earning 11 points in the process. Little was in the B-final of the 100-yard breaststroke, placing 14th overall in 1:13.46.
Eisses qualified for the B-finals in the 100-yard backstroke. She placed 14th in the finals in 1:04.96. Eisses, Crewe-Brown, Harper, and Little placed 5th overall for the 800-yard freestyle relay, earning the team 28 points in a time of 8:45.09. Harper gained her second individual event worth of points in the 1,650-yard freestyle, placing 13th overall in 20:23.96.
Eisses narrowly missed a top-ten finish in the 200-yard backstroke, placing 12th in 2:23.77, 2.33 seconds behind 10th place. Crewe-Brown and Little made the B-finals for the 200-yard breaststroke. Crewe-Brown placed 12th in 2:36.68, and Little was 16th in 2:41.21.
The final event of the weekend that gave Campbellsville points was the 400-yard freestyle relay. Eisses, Crewe-Brown, Harper, and Little placed 6th overall in 3:58.14.
Campbellsville will now look ahead to the NAIA National Championship on March 6-9 in Columbus, Ga.
