CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The Tigers hosted the Brescia University Bearcats on Tuesday night. Campbellsville limited Brescia to nothing, taking the victory 2-0.

The game began with a slow start from both teams, unable to connect and make it to the scoreboard. Multiple Tigers attempted shot after shot, but the Bearcats' goalie blocked ball after ball. Jarred Hendricks attempted back-to-back shots, both saved by Brescia's stern goalie.

Campbellsville was first on the scoreboard as Jarred Hendricks scored the first goal of the game in the first five minutes of the second half. Halfway into the second period, Nicolo Lanari scored for the Tigers, amplifying Campbellsville's upper hand. Gustav Oskarsson attempted a fierce header shot, saved by the Bearcats' goalie.

The Tigers will be back in action on Monday, September 23rd, hosting the West Virginia University Institute of Technology Golden Bears beginning at 5 p.m. ET.

• Campbellsville surpassed Brescia in multiple statistical categories: goals (2-0), shots (25-5), and shots on goal (12-0).
• Oskarsson recorded a new season high for shots in a game with two; Diego Chainho also recorded a new season high for shots on goal in a game with two.
• Campbellsville has not lost a game against Brescia since 2007; since then, the Bearcats have only scored one goal against the Tigers.
