COLUMBIA, KY – Campbellsville concluded the regular season with a second-place performance at the Highway 55 Last Chance Meet.
Victória Lanza got the scoring started for the Tigers in the 200-yard butterfly. She placed 2nd overall in the event in 2:21.88.
Marlien Crewe-Brown earned the team's first individual victory on the day in the 200-yard breaststroke. Crewe-Brown won the event by 6.18 seconds in 2:31.77.
Sofia Tricoli placed 3rd in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:08.06, only 5.02 seconds off a runner-up finish. Campbellsville swept the podium in the 500-yard freestyle.
Clara Björkegren won the event in 5:28.90, Lanza was 2nd at 5:44.15, and Tricoli rounded out the podium in 3rd at 6:07.55.
Crewe-Brown garnered her second individual podium finish of the day in the 100-yard breaststroke. She placed 2nd in 1:09.93.
Charlotte Stull gave the team one final podium spot in the 200-yard IM. Stull was 3rd overall and finished in a time of 2:27.43.
The Tigers will now have their sights set on the Mid-South Conference Championships. This year's conference will be held at Centre College in Danville, KY from February 6-8.
