DICKSON, Tenn.- The Campbellsville University men's golf team traveled down to Tennessee to compete in the Music City Invite hosted by the Cumberland University Phoenix on Monday and Tuesday. Only six ranked teams and one receiving votes finished ahead of the #22 Tigers' 11th-place finish.
Carson Childress and Daniel Drjlevic led the Tigers with top-15 individual finishes, ending in an eight-way tie for 13th. Childress' T13th placement saw -4 in round one and +1 in round two to end the tournament at -3, and Drjlevic, on the other hand, saw -1 in round one and -2 in round two to also close the tournament at -3.
Chase Wilson followed within the top 40 in a ten-way tie for T37th place with +1. Manuel Garcia and Corentin Hue both scored in the top 80, with +7 and +9, respectively.
Campbellsville posted a total score of +2 and placed 11th as a team.
The Tigers will be back in action, taking the road to Richmond, Kentucky, to compete in the Gibson Bay Invite hosted by the University of the Cumberlands from Monday, October 13th, through Tuesday, October 14th.
