CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Tigers closed out their second-to-last home match of the season with a four-set victory over Freed-Hardeman University. Before the match, the team honored setter Jana Krstic for achieving 1,000 career assists with the Tigers.

	- Campbellsville celebrated setter Jana Krstic for her 1,000th career assist, then defeated Freed-Hardeman in four sets (25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 25-9).
 
	- The Tigers' offense was dominant, posting a .361 team hitting percentage while holding the Lions to a .150 clip.
 
	- Elif Akcivi led all players with 15 kills on an outstanding .464 hitting percentage.
 
	- The defense was a wall at the net, led by Sophie Hill, who was involved in eight of the team's 18 total blocks.
 
	- After dropping the third set, the Tigers responded with an overwhelming 25-9 victory in the fourth to seal the match.
 
	- The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow for Senior Day, taking on Bethel University at 1 p.m. ET in their final home match of the season.
 
In the first set, Krstic started things off strong for the Tigers with a service ace. Despite some early errors that allowed the Lions to jump ahead 7-3, Riley Thorne sparked the Campbellsville offense with timely kills. Freed-Hardeman ran a fast-paced offense, but Thorne continued to find success at the net. Claire Hammond tied the set at 20 apiece with an ace, and Angi Gstach delivered the final kill to close out the set 25–22.
In the second set, Sophie Hill opened with a block assist, and Hammond notched another ace. Multiple Freed-Hardeman errors helped the Tigers pull ahead. Elif Akcivi contributed several kills to help build a 17-9 lead. The Tigers' aggressive play carried them to a 25–20 set win.
The third set began with Freed-Hardeman jumping out to a quick 3–0 lead. Madison Farmer responded with a kill to get the middle attack involved, but a series of errors kept the Tigers behind. Despite a late push, Campbellsville dropped the third set 25–19.
In the fourth set, Akcivi came out swinging to give the Tigers an early lead. From there, Campbellsville was firing on all cylinders, fueled by a massive 8-0 serving run from Olivia Hellman to go up 9-1. The Tigers dominated the rest of the way, winning the set 25–9 to seal the match.
