KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Campbellsville Lady Tigers have moved into the 23rd spot in the first NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, following receiving votes in the preseason poll.
Campbellsville currently holds a record of 9-3, winning all four of their home games. After two losses in Alabama on Tuesday, the Lady Tigers look to continue thier campaign with games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Selynna Metcalfe leads the team with a batting average of .500, Korey Harris with 19 hits, and Caroline Pitcock and Jessie Daniels with six homeruns, each. Harris also leads with ten stolen bases and Daniels with 17 RBIs.
The Lady Tigers' pitching staff is led by Emma Markham, who has an ERA of 1.69 and 27 strikeouts.
Other Mid-South Conference teams joining Campbellsville include the University of the Cumberlands (7th) and Freed-Hardeman (RV).
