Five Tigers earn All-Conference honors; LeBleu garners MSC Assistant Coach of the Year

Bowling Green, Ky. – Five Campbellsville Tiger baseball players received Mid-South Conference All-Conference honors after the announcement on Tuesday.

Garrett Maloney, Henry Wright, Zane Skansi, Yosuke Fujie, and Tanner Park were the players to be recognized. Maloney and Wright earned First-Team All-Conference honors, while Skansis and Fujie earned Second-Team All-Conference honors. Wright and Park were selected for this season's gold glove honor.

Maloney led the way for the pitching staff, collecting 68 strikeouts, a 3.36 ERA, and a record of 7-2. Maloney pitched a total of 56.1 innings, allowing 45 hits while facing 228 batters. Through the majority of the season, Maloney had an ERA of less than two.

Wright, receiving both first-team and gold glove honors, was the primary centerfielder for the Tigers this season. Wright has collected 93 putouts so far this season, with a total fielding percentage of 1.000. On the hitting side, he has collected 41 hits, 45 RBIs, 37 runs, and 11 homeruns.

Skansi, the Tigers' second-basemen, earned second-team all-conference honors. Skansi has collected 73 putouts and 85 assists this season, with a total fielding percentage of .958. On the hitting side, he has garnered 57 hits, 41 RBIs, 45 runs, and 11 homeruns. Skansi currently leads the team with a .373 batting average.

Fujie, the Tigers' third-basemen, has collected 18 puts and 66 assists this season, with a total fielding percentage of .894. On the hitting side, he has earned 50 hits, 44 RBIs, 45 runs, and 12 homeruns. Fujie currently leads the team in homeruns and stolen bases with 14.

Park, the other outfielder to earn gold glove honors, has collected 71 putouts, with a total fielding percentage of .987. On the hitting side, he has collected 36 hits, 38 RBIs, 26 runs, and six homeruns.

Assistant Coach Randy LeBleu was honored as this season's Mid-South Conference Assistant Coach of the Year.

The Tigers will head to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to begin this Mid-South Conference Tournament campaign on Wednesday, April 30th. Campbellsville will take on Cumberland University in the first round of play. The game is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET.
