Carr, Hamby earn NAIA All-American honors to conclude the 2024-25 track season

MARION, IN - CamRon Hamby and Schavon Carr both earned NAIA All-American honors to finish out day three of the NAIA National Championships.

Hamby qualified out of the preliminary round of the triple jump with a mark of 15.08m. He was able to best that mark in the finals from his fifth jump of the day of 15.28m which is a school record by .04m. Hamby placed 3rd overall, his highest finish at the NAIA National Championships to conclude his career for Campbellsville.

Carr ran his way to a 4th place finish in the 110m hurdle finals. Carr moved up in the race over the final three hurdles and leaned for a time of 14.14, only .01 off his preliminary time from Thursday. 

Lukas Smithson finished out his career for the Tigers on Friday in the 3,000m steeplechase finals. Smithson crossed the line in 14th place in a time of 9:34.73. 

As a team, the Tigers used Carr and Hamby's points to total 11 team points.
