Daniels announced as NAIA All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Campbellsville University's standout softball player, Jessie Daniels, has earned NAIA Second-Team All-American honors for her exceptional performance during the 2025 season, the national office announced Tuesday. This prestigious recognition caps a year where Daniels rewrote the program's record books.

Daniels set a new single-season home run record for the Campbellsville University softball program, launching an impressive 23 home runs. Her offensive prowess was a key factor in the team's success throughout the season.

Daniels finished the season with a remarkable .426 batting average, leading the team. She started 43 of the 45 games played and accumulated 60 hits in 141 at-bats.

Beyond her home run total, Daniels drove in a team-high 62 runs and boasted an astounding 1.007 slugging percentage. Her ability to consistently get on base was further evidenced by her .468 on-base percentage. She also recorded 11 doubles and one triple for the season.

Defensively, Daniels was a stalwart, committing only three errors in 290 chances for a .990 fielding percentage.

Daniels was named to the Mid-South Conference First Team, was NAIA Player of the Week, and earned MSC Player of the Week twice in 2025.

The Campbellsville University softball team finished the season with an overall record of 27-18.
