DALTON, Ga.- The Tigers fought the #1 Dalton State College Roadrunners on Saturday for their second match-up in the Peach State. Although Campbellsville held strong against the nation's #1, Dalton State agilely stole the victory, 4-0.

- Sophomore goalie Malthe Schou collected seven saves out of the Roadrunners' 11 shots on goal throughout the game, one save away from matching his career high.
- Today's match was Campbellsville's first-ever game against Dalton State.
- The Tigers will be back in action traveling to Portsmouth, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 2nd, to battle the Shawnee State University Bears beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
The first half saw avid defensive action from Campbellsville, as goalie Malte Schou saved their shots at the goal and the Tigers agilely blocked their attempts to make their way to the scoreboard. Neither team managed to score going into the second half.
After a couple of missed shots from Dalton State at the beginning of the second half, the Roadrunners scored two goals five minutes apart from one another, gaining the lead early in the second period of play. Ruben Cooper and Filip Saric collected shots as the contest went on, but Dalton State kicked two more goals in the last 20 minutes of the game to defeat Campbellsville 4-0.
