PORTSMOUTH, Ohio. – The Tigers took the road to battle the Shawnee State University Bears. With two goals in the 82' and 83' minutes of the game, Campbellsville took their first victory of the season against Shawnee State, 2-1.

- Mihlali Blesi led the Tigers with two goals, seven shots, and four shots on goal. Malte Schou collected five saves throughout the game.
- Campbellsville surpassed Shawnee State with 16 shots to their ten.
- The Tigers will be back in action hosting the Saint Xavier University Cougars on Saturday, September 6th, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
Both teams came into the game with avid shots, but neither team managed to score throughout the first half.
A minute into the second half, the Bears scored the first goal of the game. As the contest continued to unfold, both defenses prevented the other from scoring, keeping Shawnee State in the lead. With less than ten minutes in the game, Mihlali Blesi scored two back-to-back goals within one minute from one another.
