CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The #18 Tigers hosted the (RV) Oakland City University Mighty Oaks on Tuesday night for the first home doubleheader of the season. Although Campbellsville scored the first goal of the game in the second half, Oakland City stole the lead with two back-to-back goals, taking the game 2-1.

- Today's loss is Campbellsville's first-ever defeat against Oakland City; the Tigers had never lost a game against the Mighty Oaks throughout their entire contest history since 2006.
- The Tigers will be back in action, taking the road to Lima, Ohio, to battle the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers on Saturday, September 13th, beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
The game saw little offensive action throughout the first half, with neither team able to score and both defenses remaining strong.
In minute 63 of the game, Amelie Matheis put the Tigers on the scoreboard with an assist by Julia Ogren. The Mighty Oaks retaliated with two back-to-back goals in the last 15 minutes of the game. Campbellsville was unable to strike back, falling to Oakland City, 2-1.
