Despite spotting the hosts an early lead and forfeiting the final three weight classes, Campbellsville's middleweights proved unstoppable. The Tigers rattled off five consecutive victories between 141 and 174 pounds—collecting three pins and two major decisions—to build a lead large enough to withstand Georgetown's late surge.

Georgetown struck first at 125 pounds, where Caleb Thomas dropped a hard-fought 8-6 decision to Wyatt Payne. The home team extended its advantage at 133 pounds as Leland Reeves earned a 4-1 decision over #9 Izaeah Beavers, putting Campbellsville in a 6-0 hole early.

At 141 pounds, #9 Nick Moore swung the momentum, posting a dominant 10-2 major decision over Cofy Walls to put Campbellsville on the board. #8 Nik Yancey followed at 149 pounds with a crucial fall, flattening Ethan Kessinger at the 3:33 mark to give Campbellsville its first lead at 10-6.

The bonus points continued to pile up at 157 pounds, where #15 Antwuan Burns used a high-paced offense to secure a 16-6 major decision over Josh Sharron. #4 Jasitin Kubwimana widened the gap further at 165 pounds, needing just 1:50 to pin Chaz Rich and push the team score to 20-6.

At 174 pounds, #7 Shad Slone delivered the night's quickest finish. Slone pinned Keenan Shively in just 39 seconds, extending the Campbellsville lead to 26-6.

That 20-point cushion proved vital, as Georgetown collected forfeits at 184, 197, and 285 pounds to close the final score to 26-24.
