CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The #17 Campbellsville University women's wrestling team welcomed Mid-South Conference rival #5 Lindsey Wilson College to the Hord Wrestling Facility on Saturday night for the annual "Battle of Highway 55." On a night dedicated to the program's seniors, the Tigers battled through a gauntlet of ranked match-ups but ultimately fell to the Blue Raiders, 33-11.
- The #17 Lady Tigers hosted Mid-South Conference rival #5 Lindsey Wilson for Senior Night, falling 33-11 in a dual that featured competitive bouts against top-ranked opposition.
- Sophomore #13 Kylee Tait electrified the Hord Wrestling Facility crowd at 160 pounds, securing a blisteringly fast pin in just 44 seconds.
- Freshman #6 Makennah Craft had a dominant 12-0 technical fall at 103 pounds and added a pin over a ranked opponent in exhibition action.
- Campbellsville went toe-to-toe with the Blue Raiders in several tight matches, including narrow decision losses by #10 Gaby Perez, #17 Addison Messerly, and Lauren Walton.
- The Tigers will hit the road for the Warrior Open at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Ind., on January 23-24.

Makennah Craft sent the home crowd home with a highlight. Craft dominated Havana Hampl, cruising to a 12-0 technical fall. Craft continued her impressive night in extra matches, pinning Lindsey Wilson's #19 Skyler Randolph in 48 seconds.
At 110 pounds, Blue Raiders claimed the momentum. Lindsey Wilson's Emma Bauknight pinned
Kiley McNerney in 1:03, followed by Jaden Evans earning a 10-0 technical fall over
Addison Rudolph at 117 pounds.
At 124 pounds, #17
Addison Messerly engaged in a defensive battle with #5 Grace Lashinsky. Messerly kept the match close but dropped a hard-fought 2-0 decision. The Blue Raiders extended their lead at 131 pounds when #7 Jeila Ramos pinned #17
Olivia Messerly in 59 seconds.
The middleweights saw razor-thin margins. At 138 pounds,
Lauren Walton battled #14 Brielle Bibla to the final whistle, falling just short in a 2-1 decision. In the 145-pound bout, #10
Gaby Perez faced off against #8 Kori Campbell. Perez scored points for the Tigers in the classification standings but dropped a tight 3-1 decision.

Kylee Tait provided the spark of the night for Campbellsville at 160 pounds. The sophomore wasted no time, flattening Sofia Toledo for a pin in just 44 seconds to put the Tigers on the board.

Desi Lee at 180 pounds (0:21) and Cheyenne Cruce securing a fall over
Brianna Staebler at 207 pounds (4:03).
