WBB NAIA Poll 102126

Lady Tigers open 2026-27 campaign ranked No. 8 in NAIA Poll

| By:
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The Campbellsville University women's basketball program will begin the 2026-27 season among the nation's elite once again, as the Lady Tigers were ranked No. 8 in the latest NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll released by the national office.

The national ranking continues a stretch of sustained success for Campbellsville, which is coming off a 24-8 season that culminated in a trip to the NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals. The Lady Tigers advanced to Sioux City for another deep postseason run and added to a tradition that includes a nation-leading 34 appearances in the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship.

Campbellsville enters the new season led by junior guard Dea Bradley, who returns after earning Third-Team NAIA All-America honors following a standout sophomore campaign. Bradley headlines a young but talented roster looking to build on last season's success despite the departure of several veteran contributors.

The ranking places Campbellsville among the NAIA's top championship contenders entering the year, even after the Lady Tigers were selected fifth in the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll. In that poll, defending conference powers Bethel (Tenn.) and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) claimed the top two positions, while Campbellsville was projected fifth despite returning an All-American cornerstone in Bradley and a roster expected to feature significant development throughout the season.

The Mid-South Conference once again projects as one of the nation's most challenging leagues. Bethel enters the season after reaching the NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals, while Freed-Hardeman advanced to the national final site last season. Campbellsville, Georgetown, and Lindsey Wilson also return programs with recent national tournament experience, creating another demanding conference race.

The Lady Tigers have become one of the NAIA's most consistent programs under head coach Ginger High Colvin, regularly competing for conference championships and national tournament berths. Last season's quarterfinal appearance marked yet another postseason run for a program that has established itself as a fixture on the national stage.

With an All-American leading the backcourt, a nationally recognized coaching staff, and a tradition of postseason success, Campbellsville enters the 2026-27 campaign ranked among the nation's top 10 and positioned to contend for both Mid-South Conference and national honors.

The Lady Tigers will open their season looking to validate their national ranking while pursuing another trip to the NAIA National Championship.
