- The #8 Campbellsville University men's wrestling team finished third at the Mid-South Conference Championship on Friday, highlighted by four individual titles.
- #14 Izaeah Beavers (133 lbs.), #4 Nik Yancey (149 lbs.), #16 Antwaun Burns (157 lbs.), and #4 Jasitin Kubwimana (165 lbs.) all captured MSC Championships in their respective weight classes.
- #6 Shad Slone (174 lbs.) earned a runner-up finish after securing falls in his first two bouts of the tournament.
- #13 Ashton Boswell (197 lbs.) battled back through the consolation bracket to claim third place with a pin in his final match.
- The Tigers will now turn their focus to the NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championship, set for March 5-7 at the Heartland Credit Union Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

Izaeah Beavers claimed the 133-pound title with authority, capping his run with a 20-4 technical fall (6:53) over Alex Tabor of Lindsey Wilson. Beavers controlled the bracket from the opening whistle, scoring a 2:12 fall over Jaydon DeHart (Rio Grande) in the quarterfinals and a 14-3 major decision over Arlo Laxton (Lindsey Wilson) in the semifinals.
At 141 pounds, #6
Nick Moore received a bye in the quarterfinals before falling in the semifinals to #4 Adrian Ayala (Lindsey Wilson) by a 6-0 decision. Moore's tournament was cut short in the consolation rounds due to injury, resulting in an injury default (0:11) to #17 Eli Peyton (Cumberlands) and a medical forfeit in the fifth-place match.
The Tigers featured a pair of placers at 149 pounds. Unstoppable throughout the bracket, #4
Nik Yancey captured first place. Following a first-round bye, Yancey recorded back-to-back technical falls, shutting out Ellis Otting (Cumberland) 15-0 (6:02) and defeating Kiowa Vines (Lindsey Wilson) 21-6 (6:21). In a thrilling championship bout, Yancey edged Cumberland's #5 Victor Guzman with a 4-1 sudden-victory decision.
Cal Beadling also competed at 149 pounds, battling back from a quarterfinal loss to record a fall (2:48) over Benjamin Sloan (Rio Grande) and a 10-6 decision over Otting. Beadling dropped his final two bouts to place sixth.
Campbellsville continued its championship momentum at 157 pounds, where #16
Antwaun Burns took the crown. Burns opened with a quick 1:07 fall over Kaylin Foust (Rio Grande) and a 9-4 decision over Midway's Chris Sperrin. After rolling to a 17-2 technical fall (6:38) against Cumberland's Elijah Griffin in the semifinals, Burns ground out a 3-2 decision over #14 Brice Coleman (Cumberlands) in the final.
Anthony Joseph also tallied a win for the Tigers in the 157-pound bracket, earning a 17-10 decision in the consolation rounds.
Racing through the 165-pound bracket, #4
Jasitin Kubwimana remained undefeated on the season to claim his title. After a first-round bye, the sophomore pinned Rio Grande's Pate Eastin in 2:22 and followed that with a 4:27 fall over Lindsey Wilson's Jaiden Moore in the semifinals. Kubwimana finished his title run with a decisive 10-3 decision over #11 Malachia Harris (Cumberlands).
Luke Schlosser also represented the Tigers at 165, dropping a pair of matches.

Shad Slone powered his way to the 174-pound finals. He started his day with back-to-back first-period pins, flattening Midway's Sawyer Elwood in 1:15 and Lindsey Wilson's Kriecg Roe in 1:47. Slone finished second overall, dropping a hard-fought 4-1 decision to #9 Weston Melvin (Cumberlands) in the championship match.
At 184 pounds, #10
Brice Parks won his opening bout with a 1:27 fall over Georgetown's Doug Dittmer before falling 5-3 to Lindsey Wilson's Ashston Habiel in the quarterfinals. Parks was forced to medically forfeit his remaining matches, placing eighth.

Ashton Boswell earned a third-place finish for the Tigers at 197 pounds. Following a quarterfinal bye and a 15-10 decision loss to #10 Tyler Rowland (Cumberland) in the semifinals, Boswell bounced back to pin Midway's Stephen Browning in 3:30 in the third-place bout.
At heavyweight,
Sam Bertin secured fifth place. After dropping his quarterfinal match, Bertin responded with a 2:33 fall over Midway's Anthony Popi. He fell in the consolation semifinals but claimed fifth place via a medical forfeit over Lindsey Wilson's Miguel Perez.
