The Tigers set their rhythm early in the opening set. After trading points with the Jaguars, kills from Savvas Christou and Denzel Madrigal helped build a 14-10 lead. Governors State attempted to tighten the gap on the scoreboard, but Pedro Zavatini and Ayoube Hamadache continued to push the Jaguars back with timely attacking. Madrigal pushed the Tigers to set point with a clutch kill, and a subsequent service error by Governors State sealed the first set 25-20.

The second frame showcased an elevated level of competition on the court. The Jaguars jumped out to take the lead early, but back-to-back service aces by Madrigal returned the advantage to the Tigers. The set remained a tight side-out battle as it unfolded, narrowing to a one-point margin at 23-22. However, a clutch terminal kill by Hamadache followed by a set-clinching service ace from Alonzo Vega secured the second set 25-22.

Campbellsville came into the third determined to make it the last. The Tigers hit a blistering .636 as a team in the final frame, committing only one error on 22 hitting attempts. Defensively, four team blocks in the set demonstrated Campbellsville's control at the net. Zavatini, Christou, and Hamadache proved to be too overwhelming for the Jaguars' defense, ending the match with a sweep after a dominant 25-14 third-set victory.
