CEDARVILLE, Ohio. — The Campbellsville University Track & Field teams delivered a definitive performance at the NCCAA Indoor National Championships this weekend, bringing home three national titles, a sweeping collection of All-American honors, and multiple podium finishes on the national stage. The men's squad produced two national champions and finished sixth overall, while the women's team capitalized on every opportunity to secure a fourth-place team finish.

• Schavon Carr captured the NCCAA National Championship in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a gold-medal time of 8.17 seconds.
• Makiyah Allen secured the women's 60-meter hurdles national title, crossing the line in 8.97 seconds to earn All-American honors.
• Martin Batel completed a stellar distance double, winning the 5,000-meter national championship (15:06.20) and adding an All-American finish in the 3,000-meter run (8:46.11).
• The Lady Tigers made the most of their limited roster, scoring 47 points to finish 4th overall in the team standings with just five entries.

Senior hurdler Schavon Carr captured the NCCAA National Championship in the 60-meter hurdles, blazing to victory with a time of 8.17 seconds. His dominant run secured the title and cemented his status as an NCCAA All-American. Freshman teammate Mouhamed Pouye joined him on the podium, adding an All-American performance of his own with a third-place finish in 8.38 seconds.

Distance standout Martin Batel put together a masterful performance in the endurance events. Batel won the 5,000-meter run in 15:06.20 to claim his national title. He followed up that gold-medal effort with another All-American performance in the 3,000-meter run, clocking 8:46.11 to take bronze in a highly competitive field.

In the field events, Marcus Bell Jr. earned All-American honors in the shot put with a massive heave of 15.58 meters (51' 1.50"), securing the silver medal. In the jumps, Neo Khanye soared to All-American status, recording a leap of 6.70 meters (21' 11.75") to place third in the long jump and add crucial points to the team tally.

"Our men producing two national champions is big time," Head Coach Ranard Adkison said. "When the lights were the brightest, they delivered. That's what you love to see as a coach. They embraced the moment, trusted their training, and rose to it."

The women's team authored one of the most impressive storylines of the meet. Competing with only five entries, the Lady Tigers maximized their scoring potential to finish fourth overall in the national standings with 47 points.

Senior Makiyah Allen rose to the occasion in the 60-meter hurdles, sprinting to a national championship with a winning time of 8.97 seconds. Her flawless execution over the barriers earned her All-American honors and provided one of the defining moments of the weekend.

The field athletes were equally lethal. In the triple jump, Kariana Harrigan secured All-American status and a silver medal with a bounding leap of 10.55 meters (34' 7.50"). In the throwing circle, Kayla Barr anchored the unit with an All-American performance in the weight throw, recording a runner-up mark of 14.16 meters (46' 5.50").

"What a weekend for our group," Coach Adkison said. "For our women to finish 4th with only five entries is incredible. Every single one of them showed up ready to score and compete. They made every opportunity count, and that says everything about their preparation, toughness, and heart. That kind of efficiency on a national stage is special."

"Our coaching staff is really proud," Adkison reflected. "Proud of how they compete. Proud of how they support each other. Proud of the standard we're continuing to raise as a program. Now it's time to lock back in. The Conference Championship is Tuesday, and we're carrying this momentum with us. We're focused, we're prepared, and we're ready to compete."
