CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville Tigers wrapped up their four-game series against the Indiana Tech Warriors on Sunday at HIG Field, splitting the afternoon doubleheader. Brady Henke powered the Tigers to a 10-4 victory to secure the series split in front of the home crowd.

GAME ONE: Indiana Tech 9, Campbellsville 5
Both teams were kept off the scoreboard in the top of the opening frame, as Campbellsville worked out of early trouble.
Campbellsville broke the game open in the bottom half of the first.
Thomas Krueger ignited the scoring with an RBI single, followed by
Jaxson Grubbs reaching safely on a critical error that plated another run.
Nick Hagen kept the line moving with a clutch two-run single, and
Tate Wischnack capped the rally with an RBI double to right center. The five-run surge gave the Tigers a commanding 5-0 lead right out of the gate.
However, the Warriors refused to fold. Indiana Tech chipped away with a run in the second and another in the fourth to cut the deficit to 5-2 and shift momentum back toward the visitors.
The game turned dramatically in the fifth inning. Indiana Tech capitalized on multiple Campbellsville defensive miscues, erupting for six runs to take an 8-5 lead. The sudden swing erased Campbellsville's early control and put the Tigers in comeback mode.
The Warriors added an insurance run on a sacrifice fly in the sixth to extend their lead to 9-5. Campbellsville attempted to rally late but could not string together the necessary hits as Indiana Tech closed out the victory.
GAME TWO: Campbellsville 10, Indiana Tech 4
With the series split on the line, the Tigers came out determined to respond, but Indiana Tech struck first, building a 2-0 lead in the opening inning.
Campbellsville answered immediately in the bottom of the second. After
Thomas Krueger and
Kleysen Gabruck drew back-to-back walks,
Antony Gilbert laced a two-RBI single to left field to quickly knot the score at 2-2.
The Warriors reclaimed the advantage in the third inning, using a pair of RBI doubles to jump back in front 4-2. However, the Tigers' resilient offense went right back to work in the bottom of the fourth.
Joaquin Hernandez delivered an RBI single to left field to score Gabruck, cutting the deficit to one. Moments later,
Tate Wischnack crossed the plate on a wild pitch, tying the game at 4-4.
The momentum fully shifted in the bottom of the fifth inning when
Jaxson Grubbs launched a solo home run to center field, giving Campbellsville its first lead of the afternoon at 5-4.
The Tigers put the game out of reach in the sixth. Wischnack and Gilbert opened the inning with back-to-back singles, and
Luke O'Brien executed a perfect sacrifice bunt to move both runners into scoring position.
Kyle Liu followed with an RBI double down the right-field line to extend the lead to 6-4. After Indiana Tech intentionally walked Grubbs to load the bases, the decision proved costly.
Brady Henke stepped to the plate and delivered the biggest swing of the day, crushing a towering grand slam down the left-field line to push the Tigers' lead to 10-4.
On the mound,
Tristin Crusenberry settled in after the early innings, working five strong frames to earn his team-leading fourth win of the year.
Parker King was flawless out of the bullpen, tossing the final two scoreless innings and allowing just one hit to secure the victory and seal the series split.
