FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The (RV) Campbellsville University Women's Flag Football team put together a perfect weekend at the Cougar Classic, returning home with a three-game sweep over Graceland University, Midland University, and Siena Heights University.
- The (RV) Campbellsville University Lady Tigers traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the Cougar Classic and secured three straight victories over Graceland, Midland, and Siena Heights.
- Quarterback Korine Talkington fueled the offense with 724 total passing yards and 11 passing touchdowns across the three matchups.
- Two-way standout Alex Odom recorded 19 receptions for 286 yards and six receiving touchdowns, while also pulling down three interceptions on defense.
- The Campbellsville defense proved relentless, recording 7 total interceptions to keep the ball out of their high-powered offense's hands.

Game One: Campbellsville 21, Graceland 18
In their weekend opener on Friday, the Lady Tigers found themselves in a gritty battle, trailing Graceland 12-7 at halftime. However, the offense caught fire in the third quarter, producing 14 crucial points to retake the lead. Quarterback
Korine Talkington led the comeback, finishing the game with 204 passing yards and three touchdowns. Her primary target was
Alex Odom, who hauled in seven catches for 86 yards and a pair of scores.
On the defensive side, Campbellsville locked down the Graceland attack in the second half. Linebacker
Timaya Woody recorded a game-high 11 tackles to anchor the unit. The secondary was exceptionally opportunistic, picking off three passes in the contest.
Emani Scott secured two interceptions, while
Autumn Spain added a 15-yard interception return to stifle Graceland's momentum.
Game Two: Campbellsville 20, Midland 14
The momentum rolled into Saturday's matchup against Midland, though it required another tightly contested effort. After falling behind 13-7 in the second quarter, Campbellsville found the end zone to take a one-point lead right before the half. Talkington then orchestrated a game-sealing 62-yard drive in the fourth quarter to put the Lady Tigers up for good.
Talkington was brilliant through the air, completing 22 of 36 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns. Odom was virtually unguardable, exploding for 168 receiving yards and two touchdowns on seven receptions.
Monica Montes also stepped up as a dual-threat playmaker, catching four passes for 32 yards and a touchdown on offense, while pulling down a 14-yard interception on defense. Odom added to her spectacular stat line with two crucial interceptions to keep Midland at bay.
Game Three: Campbellsville 35, Siena Heights 6
In the weekend finale, the Lady Tigers left no doubt, dominating Siena Heights on both sides of the ball. After surrendering an early touchdown to fall behind 6-0, Campbellsville responded with 35 unanswered points.
Talkington delivered her best performance of the weekend, carving up the defense for 257 passing yards and five touchdowns. The wealth was distributed evenly among the receiving corps; Itzaan Gibbs led the team in yardage with six catches for 86 yards and a touchdown, while Odom added two more receiving scores to her weekend tally. Montes and
Reagan Coupe also caught touchdown passes to cap off the offensive fireworks. Defensively, Woody added seven tackles, and Madison Witten tallied six stops to ensure the Siena Heights offense remained scoreless for the final three quarters.
