Lady Tigers earn #2 seed; set to host NAIA 1st & 2nd Round

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The road to the Red Banner runs through the Powell Athletic Center. After compiling a 22-7 overall record and receiving an at-large bid, the Campbellsville University Lady Tigers have earned a #2 seed in the Liston Quadrant for the 2026 NAIA Women's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds, presented by Ballogy.

Hosting the opening rounds on Friday, March 13th, and Saturday, March 14th, Campbellsville will welcome three formidable programs to campus: the #7-seed LSU Shreveport Pilots, the #10-seed Benedictine College Ravens, and the #15-seed Bryan College Lions.

The Lady Tigers' selection marks a monumental milestone, as Campbellsville returns to the national championship field for the 34th time: the most appearances of any program in NAIA women's basketball history.

Representing the Mid-South Conference, the host Lady Tigers boast an elite, high-octane offense that averages 80.3 points, 36.7 rebounds, 17.5 assists, and 14.2 steals per game. Graduate Whitney Hay paces the attack, leading the team with 18.0 points per outing. MSC Defensive Player of the Year Tyra Flowers anchors the interior and the transition game, contributing 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 steals per contest. Hallie Allen helps orchestrate the offense, dishing out 2.4 assists per game.

#2 Campbellsville vs. #15 Bryan College | Friday, 5 p.m. ET
Action tips off on Friday evening when the #2 Lady Tigers face off against the #15 Bryan College Lions. Representing the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC), the Lions enter the tournament with a 21-6 overall record and an 18-2 conference mark. Bryan is looking to bounce back and play spoiler after falling to Spartanburg Methodist College, 69-68, in the AAC Tournament Quarterfinals.

#7 LSU Shreveport vs. #10 Benedictine | Friday, 7 p.m. ET
The nightcap will feature a clash between #7 LSU Shreveport and #10 Benedictine. LSUS brings a dynamic, balanced attack, averaging 72.3 points while recording 39.3 rebounds and 15.3 steals across their 31 games. Benedictine, an at-large selection out of the Heart of America Athletic Conference, enters at 24-7 overall after a run to their conference tournament championship game, where they fell to MidAmerica Nazarene. The Ravens average 72.0 points and 40.7 rebounds per game.

The winners of Friday's matchups will advance to the Second Round and square off on Saturday, March 14th, at 3 p.m. ET. The victor of Saturday's contest will punch their ticket to the 64-team bracket's final destination: the 45th annual NAIA Women's Basketball Championship final site held at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, from March 19-24.

Per NAIA policy on hosting postseason events, all Campbellsville students and employees must purchase tickets for entry. There will be no family passes available for access to the NAIA Women's Basketball Tournament First & Second Rounds. Fans will be able to purchase tickets at the door prior to the games.
