GEORGETOWN, Ky. –
Mihlali Blesi completed a brace with an 87th-minute penalty kick Tuesday at Toyota Stadium, rallying Campbellsville University to a 2-2 draw with Georgetown College in the teams' Mid-South Conference opener.
- Blesi accounted for both Campbellsville goals and generated seven of the Tigers' 11 shots, placing five attempts on frame.
- The brace gave Blesi consecutive two-goal performances after he also scored twice in Campbellsville's draw with Mount Vernon Nazarene.
- Campbellsville controlled the attacking numbers before halftime, outshooting Georgetown 8-3 and putting five attempts on goal while holding the hosts without a shot on target.
- The balance shifted after the break, when Georgetown recorded nine of its 12 shots and scored twice in an 11-minute, 11-second span to erase Campbellsville's lead.
- Campbellsville placed eight of its 11 shots on goal, forcing Georgetown goalkeeper Simon Heine to make six saves.
- Mark Horn supplied the assist on the opening goal before later returning from the bench and helping the Tigers create their late equalizer.

Campbellsville established the stronger attacking rhythm during the opening half. Blesi forced Heine into his first save in the 10th minute before sending another attempt high four minutes later.
The Tigers broke through at 15:56. Horn provided the service for Blesi, who finished to give Campbellsville the early 1-0 advantage.
Campbellsville continued to test the Georgetown defense after taking the lead. Heine denied Blesi again in the 20th minute, while
Malte Ekman sent an attempt wide before forcing another save at 31:39.
Izan Garcia Gancedo added Campbellsville's fifth shot on target in the 40th minute, but Heine made the stop. The Tigers carried their 1-0 lead into halftime after limiting Georgetown to three shots, none on frame.
Georgetown equalized four minutes into the second half. Logan Anderson scored from Reid Schulten's assist at 49:15 to make it 1-1.
Blesi nearly restored the Campbellsville advantage in the 60th minute, but Heine turned away his effort. Georgetown moved ahead just over a minute later when Schulten converted a chance supplied by Noah Watson at 60:26.

Malthe Schou kept the deficit at one with his lone save of the match, denying Cameron Whitis in the 74th minute.
Fredrik Nordal then put a header on target in the 79th, but Heine made his sixth save.
The Tigers continued pressing and earned their equalizer at 86:56. Blesi converted from the penalty spot to complete his brace and level the match at 2-2.
Georgetown produced one final shot and a corner kick during the closing minutes, but Campbellsville protected the draw through the final whistle.
Campbellsville finished with 11 shots, eight on goal and four corner kicks, while Georgetown recorded 12 shots, three on goal and seven corners.
