2010-11: As a redshirt freshman, Alsip posted a 20-10 record and placed fourth in the Mid-South Conference Tournament. He qualified for the NAIA National Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and finished in the Top 12 for 133 pounds.

2009-10: During his freshman season, Alsip served as a redshirt and traveled to the NAIA National Tournament in Oklahoma City as sparring partner to Tommy Pretty, who went on two win the 133-pound NAIA National Championship.

High School: As a four-year wrestler at Norwood High School, Alsip set the program's career wins record with a 172-30 career W-L record. He placed in the Ohio State Tournament twice, finishing eighth and sixth. He was named the Senior Athlete of the Year in 2008-09.

Club: Alsip also competed four seasons for the Crusader Wrestling Club, where he claimed the Ohio Freestyle state championship.

Personal: He is the son of Gary and Andrea Alsip. He enjoys camping and 4-wheeling.
