This Season at CU: Caroline Owen is entering her senior year for the Campbellsville Lady Tigers.
2013-14: Owen had a breakout year for the Lady Tigers last season. She played in 36 games and started 23. Her ability to knock down the 3-point shot opened up a slew of opportunities. Owen averaged 7.9 PPG and shot fourth best in the NAIA with a 45.9 percent (61-for-133) 3-point percentage. Owen set the the CU record with nine 3-pointers in a game against Milligan College on Dec. 31, 2013. That was also a career-high in points with 27.
2012-13: Owen played in 23 games during her sophomore year and averaged 7.2 minutes a game. She scored 1.6 PPG.
2011-12: During her freshman season, Owen played in 26 games. She scored 2.2 PPG.
High School: Attended Smith County High School where she played for four years. She averaged 18 PPG, 8 RPG, shot 85 percent from the charity stripe and scored 1,660 points during her career.She was awarded the All Freshman, All-District and All-Region teams.
AAU: Played for the Tennessee Elite and KY Pride
Personal: Owen is majoring in social studies with a secondary education minor. Her parents are Jimmy and Helen Owen. She enjoys the outdoors and living in the country. Her interesting fact is that she owns a pet cow named Margaret.
