This Season at CU: Lindey Young is entering her senior year at Campbellsville.

2013:14: Young played in 22 games her junior year. She averaged 4.7 PPG and 2.4 RPG off the bench. Young scored a season-high 12 points and seven rebounds against Hiwassee College on Dec. 29.

2012-13: Young played in 10 games her sophomore year and started one. She earned 49 minutes coming off the bench and scored 1.7 PPG. 

2011-12: Young played in 14 games her freshman year where she earned 69 minutes coming off the bench. She scored 3.9 PPG and 1.8 RPG.

High School: Attended Bullitt East High School where she played for five years. Young's impressive high school career ended by averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds a game her senior season. Young hit 57 percent of her field goals and 68 percent of her free throws while being runner-up for 6th Region Player of the Year and earning a tryout with the Kentucky All-Stars. She was a member of the 24th All-District Team and 6th All-Region Team as well as MVP of the 24th District. The Lady Charger earned All-State Academic honors for four straight years.

AAU: Young played four years with the Hoyas out of Louisville

Personal: Majoring in public relations with a biology minor. Her parents are Vincent and Carla Young. She has done voliunteer work at her home church, Southeast Christian, during the summer months. An interesting fact about Young, is that her younger brother signed to play basketball on the men's team for the 2013-24 season.
