Biography

 

Payne is entering his first season at Campbellsville. The six-foot-six junior forward comes from Cape Fear Community College in North Carolina. Touted as a D-I recruit following his freshman season at Cape Fear Community College, Payne averaged 13 points, six rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, while shooting 47 percent from the floor and helping his team to the NJCAA National Tournament 2010-11. Adkins considers Payne a long, athletic and versatile forward, which the Tigers can do a lot with him offensively.
