CU This Season: Gerwan Brewer returns as the Tigers' starting kick returner and will start at wide receiver for CU. Prior to the season, he was named the No. 2 kick off returner in the NAIA.

2010: In his redshirt freshman season, Brewer led Campbellsville in all-purpose yards (1,243). His efforts earned him the Mid-South Conference East Division Offensive Freshman of the Year award and a spot on the All-Mid-South Conference East Division team. He was the No. 4 kick returner in the NAIA with 30.2 yards per return and had more than 500 yards on kick returns. Brewers' best outing of the 2010 season was a monster effort at University of Virginia's College at Wise. He amassed 236 yards and two touchdowns on 13 offensive touches on the snowy turf. The second of those TD's was be the game winner, as it came with only 41 seconds remaining. Brewer was a Victory Sports Network (VSN) NAIA All-America Honorable Mention selection and was twice selected the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Football Student-Athtlete of the Week.

High School: As a senior at Valley High School, Brewer tallied 2,468 all-purpose yards. Displaying 4.6 speed, Brewer collected 960 yards and 15 touchdowns in his first five games that year. His big game as a senior came in mid-October with 241 yards rushing and six touchdowns in a win over Breckinridge County - including an 85-yard kickoff return and a 70-yard punt return. During his junior season, Brewer had 19 rushing touchdowns and 14 two-point conversions. He also had two receiving touchdowns and five kick - or punt - returns. Brewer colelcted 1,100 yards rushing as a junior.
