Campbellsville University Athletics

CU: Rilwan Bakare is in his first season as a Campbellsville University Tiger.

DANVILLE AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Bakare was a Second Team All-Conference selection in the Mid-West Athletic Conference in 2010-11. He averaged 12.2 points and seven rebounds per game at Danville, while becoming one of the top shooters in National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Basketball in 2010-11. The Chicago native shot 61 percent from the floor through 31 games. While ranked No. 9 in the nation for field goal percentage, only three players shot better with more than 30 wins on the schedule. Danville posted a 19-12 record in 2010-11 and finished its season in the region semifinal.

COLUMBUS STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Bakare played in 13 games as a freshman at Columbus State Community College in Ohio during the 2009-10 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bakare averaged 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds as a senior at Bloom Trail High School in the Chicago area.
